Deanery Information and News

The Longnor Family Group of churches belongs to the Deanery of Alstonfield (sometimes spelt Alstonefield) which consist of the the Benefices of: Alstonfield, Ilam and Wetton; Butterton, Ipstones-with-Berkhamsytch and Onecote-with-Bradnop; Calton, Cauldon, Grindon, Waterfall and Blore Ray with Okeover; and Longnor, Quarnford, Sheen and Warslow with Elkstone. The Deanery in turn is part of the Archdeaconry of Stoke-on-Trent.

St. Peter’s, Alstonefield

St. Peter’s is the parish church of the Alstonefield Benefice which includes the churches of Holy Cross Ilam and St. Margaret’s of Antioch Wetton.
