Easter Sunrise Service at Newtown
Our annual (fourth time now!) Easter Sunrise service at Newtown was again well attended. A lovely service led by Rev. Pepper followed by a hearty(-ish) breakfast for all. As we gathered outside the church, we were a bit disappointed that we endured some low cloud – but the birds treated us to a fine dawn chorus. And at the point of sunrise, the congregation witnessed a large barn owl flying across the churchyard and away over the fields. A sign!

Here is a sunrise we made earlier…. (!)
